Over the years, some members of our community have interacted with SEI using more than one email address or no email address at all. If that’s you, you may receive more than one portal-related email when we launch. 

If you receive a portal invitation to more than one email address, please create a login using whichever email address you prefer, but create only one. If anything looks incomplete once you’re logged in, our team of 30 is happy to help. Click here to learn how our team will support you in managing all your data.

At launch, you’ll receive an email directly from the portal with clear, step-by-step instructions for accessing your account and getting started.

You are receiving this email because you have an account for SEI’s Video Resources and/or the Peter Demo Video library. As we shared previously, we are moving all resources to our new online portal, Fonteva. This new system centralizes all your SE materials, including video content. 

On January 23, 2026, you will receive an email invitation to create your new portal login, and the current video libraries hosted on traumahealing.org will move to the new Fonteva portal. 

How to Access Your Videos

Once you log into the new portal: 

• SE Students and SEPs: You will need to re-add Peter Demo Videos to your new Fonteva account. You can add these videos to your account at no charge. 

• All Users: If you purchased videos with lifetime access, you will see them in your Fonteva account. You can also purchase new content from the Video Resources library.

We are writing to share several important updates regarding the directory's features:

Bio and Specialties Sections Now Available
As many of you noted, the “Bio” and “Specialties” sections were not available at launch. These have now been added. You may now log in to update your biography. You can still access the old system to copy your bio from there into the new system.

The “Specialties” list has also been revised based on years of community feedback. To respect the diverse professional backgrounds of our members, we have moved away from using specific mental health diagnoses and toward more inclusive categories.

Update Your Directory Email
For privacy reasons, we did not migrate personal contact data into the new directories. Many members provide home addresses to SEI, and we wanted to ensure no private information was made public without your consent. If you wish to be contacted through the directory, you must manually enter your preferred “Directory Email” in your profile. You may also enter a phone number and street address.

Timeline for Launch
The new directories are scheduled to go live next week. Please complete your profile updates by February 2, 2026 (this is a one-day extension from our original deadline).

Photo Upload Process
Your new Profile photo will be manually uploaded by SEI Staff. Please understand that this effort involves thousands of profile updates by a small staff. Thank you for your patience as we process your photo upload as quickly as possible!
Action Required: To submit your photo, please log into the new SEI portal, and go to My Info, then Directory Info, then Practitioner Photo Upload Form. The form also lists the requirements for the photo.

This new system is much more streamlined, gives you more control over your profile, and allows us to grow and support you in ways we never could have with the old, disconnected systems. We are excited to announce that the Practitioner Directory is moving to our new online portal. This integration means you will soon have a single login for all your interactions with SEI, making it easier to manage your membership and directory information in one place.

Please read this email in full, as it contains important details on maintaining your listing during this transition.

How the New Directory Works

The new system is a subscription-based model. Because you are an existing subscriber, you will not need to purchase a new subscription until your current period ends. As a thank you for your patience during this migration, we are extending all 1-year listings by an additional month.

Key Changes and Data Security

• Updated Specialties: We have revised our specialty categories to better represent SE students and practitioners from various professional backgrounds. Because this is an iterative process, you will need to log in and re-select the specialties that best apply to you.
• Privacy and Contact Info: To ensure your privacy, we will not be migrating addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses into the front-facing directories. Many practitioners provide SEI with private home addresses for billing but use business addresses for the directory.
• Practitioner Bios: Because the old and new systems operate on different platforms, we are unable to migrate your bio. Please copy your current bio before January 15, 2026, so you can paste it into the new portal.

Your Next Steps for Launch
When you receive your portal invitation at the end of January, please follow these steps:

• Log In: Use the email address where you received this message. If you receive multiple invitations, choosing the one associated with your current directory login will prevent delays in your posting.
• Verify Status: Check “My Subscriptions” in the left navigation bar to ensure your account is correctly linked. Update “My Info”: Enter your preferred “Directory Address” and “Directory Phone Number” and “Directory Email Address” to ensure your listing is searchable. Ensure you update your Directory email address so that when someone submits a contact form to you, it gets to you. This is a necessary step. Your “Directory Email” will be used to forward new client inquiries from the Provider Directory.
• Your Practitioner Directory photo cannot be migrated, unfortunately. While logged into your portal, please find the Form called “Practitioner Photo Upload Form”, and we will update your photo for you.
• We will launch the portal directories two weeks after the initial Go Live date. This will give you sufficient time to update your listings so when they go live, they are complete. The current directories will remain in effect for that time. The deadline to update your directory listing contact information is February 1, 2026.
• Review Your Listing: Once the directory is live, search for yourself to ensure your information displays correctly. If you notice any issues, please contact SEI.
• Update any public links you have to your new profile listing.

Dear Somatic Experiencing® Community,

We are in our final stages of our technology upgrade to the new online portal, where you will be able to access all your SE™ information, directories, membership, and more! The investment in this new system is a commitment to making all future interactions – from scheduling and registration to resource access and connection to the community—more reliable, intuitive, and efficient for everyone. This email contains information that may require action on your part, so please read this carefully!

The final stage will occur from January 15, 2026 – January 23, 2026. This stage is where we will transfer all the data from our current system to the new system. Because there are more than 85,000 contacts in the system, and the data transfer has to be clean we will be unable to create any new data, including transactions, in the current system during the upgrade week.

What does this mean for you?

• If you plan to attend a training in the United States that will take place in February, you must register by January 14, 2026 to receive the early bird registration rate.
• All transactions will be unavailable from January 15, 2026 – January 23, 2026.
• On January 23, 2026, you will receive an invitation to the new system, at which time you can create a portal login and process any transactions.
• If you have general questions that can be answered without looking at your SEI information or that do not require any transactions to occur, SEI will have a limited number of phone appointments available during this time.
• If you have a training in the United States during this time, you will receive a separate email with instructions.

Through this new portal, SEI will be able to better support the global SE™ community to provide excellent trainings and SE™.

We are excited to share another new feature in our future online portal! We want to keep you oriented to these changes in a titrated way, so today we're announcing a fantastic new resource: The e-Store within the SE™ Community Portal (powered by Fonteva).

There’s absolutely nothing you need to do right now except read this to get acquainted with what’s coming! You can always find all previous communications and details about the project on our dedicated landing page here.

A One-Stop Hub Built for You

The new e-Store is designed to be your one-stop location for everything SE™ related.

What makes this portal special is that it understands your unique connection to the SE™ community. It will instantly show you materials and resources based on your role and level.

For example:

• Intermediate students will see all beginning review videos, the Peter Levine demo library, and access to subscribing to the Practitioner Directory.
• Everyone, whether SEP related or not, will see options for public video rentals, membership information, and the donation page to support SEI’s nonprofit mission.

This e-Store will eventually be your primary access point for everything you need including manuals, training videos, and more.

Peter Demo Videos Remain Free

One quick note: the Peter demo videos will remain free to everyone connected to the system as an SE™ student or SEP. You will have a new, easy way to access them, and they will be available inside the new e-Store.

A Stronger Way to Connect

By having this increased ability to connect and organize information based on your unique role, we will be able to improve our communication and help us to continue to deliver quality, professional education long into the future.

Temporary Pause On Video Rentals

As part of the shift to the new system, we will have to pause video rentals from December 5, 2025 until the new system goes live in late January, 2026.

This means that if you are interested in renting a review video or a past webinar or presentation offered through SEI’s video resource page, you must order it by December 4, 2025. This will allow you to have your full rental time before the new system changes. Once the new portal is open and running, you will access all video resources through the e-store. You can access all information about the launch of the new online portal here.
 

What Comes Next

In our next emails, we will show you exactly how to access the Portal and the e-Store. We want you to know that everything will be integrated, simplifying your experience: no more hunting through old emails for access codes or links.

We write today with the first of many emails describing the specifics of the technology Fonteva rollout, first announced in the email from September 8, 2025. As we mentioned, SEI is embarking on the largest technology update to support the global community we have ever done. As part of the titrated rollout, this email describes one of the key new features of this new system – an online portal! Additionally, we have created a landing page on our website for all the updates about Fonteva. Click here to see them all in one place!

On the Go-Live date, you will be able to create a single login to SEI’s new online portal. The portal will have the following features for everyone in the world (and some unique features for particular constituents we will share directly with you over the next couple of months).

Some of the initial tabs available within the portal will be:

1. My Info – here you will be able to see and also edit your contact details, including name, email, phone, physical address, and more.
2. E-Store – everyone who creates a portal login will have access to the SEI e-store. Here you will find the demo library (Peter videos), subscriptions to the Practitioner Directory, membership, and more.
   • Please note that we are not approving new requests for access to Peter Demo videos between now and the Go-Live date. If you already have an account, you will continue to have access. Everyone will also be able to rent videos through Video Resources on the current website. 
3. My Downloads – A list of all available links or recordings for purchases you have made.
4. My Events / My Cohort Events – “My Events” will be the events for which you have already registered, and “My Cohort Events” will be visible for students and assistants in United States cohorts. It will include a list of all events in your cohort and where students register for those events.
5. Profile and Professional Information Pages – You will be able to view and edit “My Career Experience,” “My Credentials,” and “My References.”
6. Improved donation page – Integration of all systems will allow people to donate to SEI’s mission more easily, supporting accessibility of SE to more people in more locations.

In our next emails, we will be sharing more details of the new system and what to expect from SEI in the next several months.
