I have a condition called Contracture Duypeytrens which is a contraction of the tendons in my hands and feet. On the Contracture Duypeytrens Foundation website, a psychologist describes a client releasing deep emotion from the past and this symptom softened and eased. I have had my contracted hand for 20 years and have worked on it in a myriad of ways with alternative therapies. I have just started working with a body psychotherapist who works with trauma, and feel some hope for reversal of this symptom.
Does anyone know anyone who has released this symptom through healing previous trauma in their life?

I am looking for any articles that are on the topic of SE and working with people who have had a stroke. I am @ Intermediate I level of my training so haven’t encountered anything yet, if there is information dealing with it in the training. Thank you!

I so wish that I could do the SE training in South Africa. It appears that its available in Cape Town SA but not for body workers. So very sad about this and hoping for a way out , a favorable outcome. So I’m putting my wish out there into the big wide open plains. Its bound to gather momentum and return:)
