Dear Somatic Experiencing Global Community,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re reading this, it\u2019s likely that Somatic Experiencing (SE\u2122) has had a meaningful impact on your life\u2014and that you\u2019ve seen its power in the lives of others. At SEI, we are honored to witness firsthand how SE\u2122 continues to create lasting change in the world.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m Allison Brengle-Todorow, and I have the privilege of working with the Community Impact team at SEI. My role is to help usher in more opportunities for ongoing learning and enrichment, and I\u2019m excited to share more about that with you today. SEI is committed to expanding opportunities for deepening SE\u2122 learning\u2014both for those who already know its impact and for those we\u2019ve yet to reach. To support this goal, Short Programs have been developed with both audiences in mind.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Short Programs<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Some Short Programs are designed specifically for SE\u2122 students and SEPs, providing continued learning, skill refinement, and professional development beyond the 8-module training.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As you may have noticed, several SEI Global Faculty members have begun offering <\/span> new or newly integrated trainings through the SEI platform. This provides direct <\/span> access to their accumulated expertise while creating opportunities to deepen your <\/span> SE\u2122 practice, explore SE\u2122\u2019s connection to other modalities, and refine your work with <\/span> yourself and your clients.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • At the same time, we're developing a separate track of Short Programs to introduce SE\u2122 principles to people and professionals in other fields\u2014people who may not yet be familiar with SE\u2122 but can benefit from its insights.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Stay tuned to share with your friends and colleagues new ways of thinking about <\/span> stress management and professional well-being. Short Programs will be for them, <\/span> too!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Through these programs, we also hope to strengthen global connections. SEI is more than just a training organization\u2014it\u2019s a community with partnerships and collaborations in more than 50 countries. We hope these programs help more people stay connected to the work and to one another. Community itself is a space for healing, and at SEI, we are committed to fostering that connection in meaningful ways. Short Programs ar<\/span>e one piece of that larger effort.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Trauma shapes how people relate to themselves, to each other, and to the world. SE\u2122 offers a way of bridging gaps and finding the common humanity beneath protective patterns\u2014all while staying true to what makes SE\u2122 uniquely powerful: the belief that healing should be accessible to everyone. Every nervous system is uniquely its own, yet we share common patterns of response. We are distinct individuals, but also part of a larger collective\u2014interconnected through the language of our nervous systems. It\u2019s this human-to-human connection that drives our work.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Our mission is to expand access to healing and well-being, creating more opportunities for more people to benefit from SE\u2122. T<\/span>hrough Short Programs, we aim to cultivate an ongoing enrichment rotation\u2014a steady rhythm of learning and connection that keeps us engaged, deepens our understanding, and strengthens our practice.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      In the coming months, we\u2019ll be sharing more about additional opportunities for growth and engagement. Keep an eye out for Short Programs as they continue to roll out. I invite you to explore these new offerings and appreciate the work y<\/span>ou\u2019re doing to bring SE\u2122 to others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
