Dear Somatic Experiencing\u00ae Community,<\/h2>\n

We write to you today with exciting news! Over the next many months, SEI is undergoing a strategic and technological shift that will help us to continue to support the worldwide SE\u2122 community and anyone interested in learning about trauma and healing. This update has been years in the making and is the next major step to support your user experience.<\/p>\n

This is the first communication of many to share information about the changes to come. A large part of the strategic shift will be supported by a new technology system to support our mission.<\/p>\n

We want to share with you some of the exciting features we are expecting to release:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. An online portal. <\/strong>You will be able to update your demographic information, see programs you have attended, find items in the e-store, become a member, donate to SEI\u2019s nonprofit mission, and more.<\/li>\n
  2. Integrated systems.<\/strong>The SEI Practitioner Directory, SEI Provider Directory, and the video library will all be housed in the same system as the online portal for smoother access and ease of use.<\/li>\n
  3. More member benefits.<\/strong>Membership will be integrated into the same system and will allow us to provide updated member benefits with more ease and more accessibility to people interested in SE\u2122 all over the world. All active memberships will be transferred into the new system.<\/li>\n
  4. More integration with the international community<\/strong>. SE\u2122 is now taught in more than 50 countries, and we want to provide more access for people from around the world to connect, learn, and grow together.<\/li>\n
  5. Many more benefits to share along the way!  <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What you can expect:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. This process will take time from our staff and the larger SE\u2122 community.We\u2019re aiming to launch these features in early 2026, and we look forward to sharing updates with you along the way! Our team will remain responsive and proactive in supporting the larger community while learning these new tools and ensuring all of the data transfers effectively between systems.<\/li>\n
    2. There will be downtime in some processes along the way.<\/li>\n
    3. We will provide regular email updates and information about changes and how they will impact you along the way. Please watch out for all communications related to the updated technology.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Together, we can transform lives through healing trauma. We are excited to see where these next strategic steps can take us, and we are grateful for your patience as we make these changes.
