SEI is very excited to welcome Dr. Kenefick and extremely pleased to have someone of her professional and academic caliber to join and strengthen our professional team at SEI, according to Marv Tuttle, executive director. \u201cWe had almost 150 applicants and took that down to 4 finalists. An 11-person team of faculty, assistants, coordinators, board, and staff interviewed the finalists. Dr. Kenefick\u2019s academic, social service, and private practice experience, combined with her love of somatic experiencing and her active involvement in the SE community, will serve her well as she begins this pivotal global position for SEI.\u201d<\/p>\n

Magna Su-Chen Tung<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n

SEI is thrilled to announce our newest faculty member: Magna Su-Chen Tung from Taiwan. Magna is a first-generation Taiwanese whose connection to her Chinese heritage has brought her a deeper understanding of generational trauma work. She holds a master\u2019s degree in counseling and is a body-oriented psychotherapist. She has trained in breath energy work, meditation, inner-child work, family constellation, and PTSD therapy. Magna completed her SE training in 2011.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Today Magna operates a private practice in Taipei, Taiwan and has continued to share SE and her trauma work throughout Taiwan and China for many years. She is honored to have the privilege to teach SE in her native language: Mandarin. We are looking forward to embracing Magna\u2019s work as an SE Faculty member as she strives to shed light on the cultural differences in trauma healing work.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
